I was thinking about putting a Calendar of 12 of the greatest preludes of all time, please post Forum Names/Pic of the owners vehicle. This would help me out big time so I can make the contacts.

Sorry but no. I can think of many other preludes that look better. You need to get some sideskirts to complete your lip atleast before you get even considered for something like this, and maybe a higher class rim than enkei or w/e, advan/mugen/volk would do much better. and it doesnt appear you have retro fitted headlights. that would also help, got some work before you get nominated imo....but i think nominating yourself is also very, very weak
But i say Extinct. Probably the only Prelude in North America with a Wise Square bumper, easy pick right there

Heres my top 5 cars. These members are from preludepower, but some are on this site to...
5. OneSickJDMBB6
4. n0rmal
3. Ludeboi121
2. Extinct
1. JDMBB6
However. This car would be my number one car of all times. There is an epic thread on this car here on preludeonline. But sadly the car was damaged and is currently under re-build so i cant really consider it a number one Prelude anymore. But im sure once the car is complete, it will be better than ever. Here is my number one all time Prelude that is sadly under re-build....
*1. VTi BB8

You've probably listed the only modifications I have left to do on the entire car before every single item has been touched/replaced.
I don't believe retrofited lights are a mandatory step at this time, they might look nice but the stock ones with my Osram headlights give me a safe light output level. They will come in the future though, just not right now.
And although I hear you on the rims, and I do want a new set, I really think these rims are good looking. I enjoy this spoke pattern and they've held up very well through 2 climates (snowy ohio winter and constant sand storm el paso).
I just wanted to put a car on here that's a 5spd anyway, sorry to hear your disparaging remarks because you choose to ignore the sum of all parts in areas that others have yet to only dream to think putting on their cars.
And if nobody else was going to put cars on this thread, I figured I'd try to put some pictures on it to at least create some competition. What's up with your comment on posting your own car being weak? WeaponR32 did it, so are you saying something to both of us or just me?
Ludeboi121 is running a very cleanly built JRSC as you are.
But not everything is about a boosted engine...
Anybody who nominates themselves is weak imo. Of course its easy to nominate yourself, but it means 1000x's more when someone thinks of your car when the topic of top 12 preludes come up or any other honor. So no. It was not directed at you.
And no. My car is not deserving of this award or any other car show award, etc. It never will be. I do intend on going full suspension upgrades, built H22 for a turbo with a goal of about 300hp, and swap to a manual, and tweak the interior some. But i dont think my car will ever be car award worthy

Aren't you going to throw yours up?
I think your car looks great. **** the haters, lol. IMO, I don't want to look at a calendar that shows essentially the same prelude over and over again, except with maybe different wheels, paint job. Keep up the good work.
Hey thanks guys. I've always liked the hood and know a couple of people here on PO that have the same paint scheme. It makes the actual hood look a little bit smaller, like an integra or S2000.
As for the eyelids, okay, I can see it not looking the best, but I personally couldn't get over the Prelude's large headlights for the first 2 years I owned it. I always thought they were far too big and awkward looking. I have since changed my mind, but I put the eyelids on with the hope that I would really like them and I do.
BTW, for people that are interested, these are Seibon Carbon Fiber Eyelids. They are painted the same diamond pearl white as the rest of the body, but what I found is the double sided tape did not hold this down at all. They are an absolutely terrible fit almost soley because they are pre bent, but do not line up with the dimensions of the headlight. I ended up putting JB Weld in between them and the headlight and it is now permanently stuck. I have got another set of headlight eyelids since then, the kind that fit all the way around the side of the headlight and at the very corner near the fender, they kinda dip down. This is the more traditional one everyone else has, but I could never find at the time of my build. In the future, when I get my new headlights, these will be colormatched as well and put on the prelude again.
And besides, this car will be undergoing a facelift to be completed by March 2009 which will have OEM Sideskirts, JDM front bumper complete with JDM Driving (Fog) Lights, and corner lights (where the USDM turn signals are) as well as the JDM turnsignals on the top of the fender. If money allows, some new rolling stock will get put on as well at that time.
So if you all don't like it as is for the 2009 calendar, then watch out for it in the 2010 one!
LOL..forreal, talk about haters..he really DOES has a buttload of mods that some could only dream of, so a lot of us can't even talk..no need for the negativity nevertheless, and if he wants to nominate himself so be it and let everyone vote if he's worthy of being in the calendar or not

I didnt want to appear to be hating on the guy at all. I think most of what hes done to his car is great. But when the topic of Top 12 Preludes comes up, it should go to the top 12 Preludes. And imho, he has much much more work before i would ever think about his car for something like that. If its gonna be a Top 12 thing, then then only the absolute best 12 should get it and if your car doesnt cut it imo, then i will speak my mind
if anyone's b itchin about prepreludesh nominating himself then i officially nominate him. i admire the work he's done on his car and he's givven me meny ideas for my own car. and so what if he doesn't have retrofits or an expensive set of rims. i think his car looks very clean and should be put on the nomintation list. let the members of PO vote and see who comes out on the top 12
oh and i also nominate INLINEXRACING's mid-engine RWD prelude, you wont find another prelude out there that is anywhere close to being as unique as this one.

I agree. Go read Prepreludesh's thread on that car, and then you'll understand all the hard work in it. The same goes for many other cars on here.
Point is, enough with the nominations.
Make a good compiled list of all the possible candidates, and lets have a vote on it. Let the people of the forums chose.

really? none of those cars are the same in any way. One has a full mugen kit w/jrsc. One has full oem. one has the ONLY wise square bumper you will find in north america i bet. one has the mugen/oem combo and alot of work in the detail put into it. and that blue bb8 has a molded front lip bumper and a very hard to find rim. none of those cars are the same in any which way at all. they are all very different, clean, some built, some not built cars. they did not cut corners and put alot of hard work into them and have a complete all around car...imo anyways

and i agree that they didnt cut corners and did put alot of work into it, things like that cant be done overnight...but 99% mentioned is exterior.. i also want to know what they dreamed up and put under the hood...personally i feel that anyone can do exterior mods hell i have full mugen exhaust and suspension so even those are not original, for a calander or something like this where only certain people get recognized for what they have done it should be something that most other people havent ever thought of doing or thought of but then decided it wouldnt be worth the risk. i am not in any way saying that i dont like the top 5 you have i only hope that when i get more money and start doing more to my lude that it will look that good, but i dont think we should tell anyone that they have to do certain things like head lights and sideskirts before even thinking about it. granted i dont like the eyebrows on his car, but i do love the paint job, because its different... to each his own right? i just wanted to know what made weaponr23 so special that he could throw up a nom for himself? and if you notice prepreludesh only put his in because weaponr23 did sorry i speak my mind to...lol

i understand what your saying. i like ppl who speak their minds. i have nothing against his car...just imo its not a top 12 car. and i would say that about the guy who started this thread that nominated himself. prepreludesh did a nice job to his car. some of the things im not feeling though. but i think it would be impossible to make a top 12 prelude list...theres so many out there that are awsome...i only hope my car could even come to a fraction to that level
