1998 Prelude SH Battery

I'm looking for the best battery possible.
that fits 100% correctly no modifications.
I was looking @ this:
Odyssey PC 680 Battery
Odyssey PC 680 Battery | Password JDM

Is Odyssey any good, and will it fit snug in the engine bay??

here's a pic of my engine bay:

New 98' Prelude SH Owner (Pics) Need Help - Honda-Tech

I hear ya lol, i've already finished my wire tuck. Keeping ABS - everything else is taken care of (keeping it but changed it up). All I have left to do is shave the bay when i take the motor to get rebuilt (staying stock) this winter.

That battery will work fine, and yes you need the PassJDM mounts like someone mentioned previously. I don't know about fitting snug tho. That battery is 2 time narrower.

Clean ass 5th gen btw! One of the cleanest I have ever seen.

Why do you want an odyssey battery? Racing batteries have a laundry list of issues when used on street vehicles. Is this just for show? Why don't you just get a regular ass battery?

I went to that link and saw the pics...I can't believe it.
It's too damn prestine to even drive. I'm too paranoid to even own it. I wouldn't sleep at night thinking there might be dust particles settling on it lol.

Not really polite to question why others want to do certain things. Their car - not yours. I'll have to remember to ask why you don't use a regular ass part next time you "upgrade" something

yeah just keep it stored in a complete vaccume! No problems!

RHDjeezy, you were asking the other forum what upgrades you should do, one thing I would recommend in addition to the short shifter is shift cable bushings.

Honda Prelude 1997-2001 Bushing Kit - TWM Performance Prelude 1997-2001 Bushing Kits

I have these (The combo pack - base bushings and cable bushings) and the JTC Customs short shifter and it just doesnt get any better. I would honestly recommend it for ANY prelude regardless of style. No downsides, would never go back.

It's not really an upgrade though, I'd just stick with the battery he's got, Honda battery 100 mo warranty, I don't think anyone has one better than that. It's what's in my car.
