1992 Lude help - Honda Prelude Forum

So i just bought my cousins 1992 Prelude, and its been sitting for 1.5 years due to him blowing his engine, i was wondering what kind of engine i should buy for it and how much that would run me to buy it and have it installed at a shop, and if i should turbo it.

If you don't know how to work on it then you shouldn't turbo it, you'll just ruin it.

well, i was thinking a h22a or a h23 ive heard these are the best engines for ludes

does anyone know how the h22 will run me price wise? i wont need the trans i already replaced that sucker, he did not know how to shift at all.

depends on where you get it from. if you go to hmotorsonline i think you can get a complete longblock for about 700-900 i believe. It will be clean and you will know that you have something nice. If you dont have that kind of money check your local craigslist
