01 lude vs 09 civic si

I havent had a chance to race one yet but i really want to. Not specificly an 09 just the new civic si. I didnt realize till recently that they have a 6 speed. Is my sh (with header, AEM intake, full cat) got a shot with a newer civic? i've stomped plenty of civics, but never a 6 speed si

Similar weight, similar hp, but my guess is better gearing in the Si so like 99% of these questions it would most likey come down to the driver.

i hear the si is crap, just a more expensive civic, but any newer car is going to have a 10 year advantage over the prelude, and in car years thats a pretty big deal. it SHOULD beat a prelude. if it cant... that would be pretty damn sad on hondas behalf. if youre talking a modded prelude, hell, a modded anything can beat anything. it all depends on the build.

"Hear" thats its crap, cmon man I "hear" all sorts of cars are crap but I know better then to assume its true unless I've done my fair share of research or drive it myself.
