Too bad you guys don't carry all the same products Tire Rack does...I tried pricing rims and tires through you guys and you guys were about $200-$300 more then they were...mainly I think it's the rims that were causing the price hike and not the tires. They have a wide selection under $100 (per rim) while I think you guys offered like 1 or 2 at most...

Perhaps Discount Tire Online need to start listing clearance rims online too?? (hint...hint)

I have bought many tires for my vehicles through the years at Discount Tire...including the set of Nitto NeoGens on my Prelude now...I was just disappointed when the prices where higher. Tirerack (TR) was charging like $80 for shipping and no tax, while Discount Tire (DT) had tax but no delivery (the difference was negligible anyhow). I believe mounting and balancing is free with both places if you are buying both rims and tires at the same time...I know this is true with TR, not sure with DT...so it came down to the price of the rim and the tire. The tires where very competitive (within a few dollars, sometimes even exactly the same), but the rims where way off...Tirerack had you guys beat six ways to Sunday there, which was unfortunate. Although to be perfectly fair it's hard to compare different brands...

I would like to see Discount Tire include the clearance and special tires in the regular search (this is what TR does now), this way when you sort by price these specials should be on the first page. I believe this would help DT do a lot more business! People who shop the internet are typically to lazy to find the clearance tires/rims if they are on some other page that they have to search for...just look at how many times a day we get asked questions on this forum that have been answered before...Well I hope that helps! Just a bit of advice that I think would help improve DT web site and shopping experience...

Thanks for the additional thoughts and thank you for your support. We do list the clearance product within the regular search as well. They will only show up if they fit within the users search criteria. Tires work the same way. If there is a rebate on a tire the rebate is shown in the normal flow so that the shopper doesn't have to add the item to the cart to know the rebate exists. Yes, mount and balance is FREE when you purchase a wheel and tire package from us.

Ordered tires from these guys and found out they were out of stock a few days later, so the nice man on the other end of the phone who was also a lude owner upgraded me to a better tire that was in stock for the same price of the others, tires were at my door two days later. verry happy, so far these lexani tires have out performed my old fuzion zr1's greatly.
