I'm confused.. how is the site free now.. when it was free before.
But now you have to pay 7$ to get access to everything?
maybe its a typo? should say "Almost Free" or "Virtually Free" for example.

$7 is petty monies, but its the principal, don't tell people (quote from the email notification) "It is now FREE for all members." if its not. That's misleading.

Seems only the classifieds and off topic areas are for paying members.
So we have to pay the site so we can pay another member for parts.
I don't understand the reasoning for the site selling out, and I don't have to like it.
but I'm not paying the $7 today either. Maybe later if I really need something I can't find anywhere else.

Just a though though, why don't you set permissions on the paid boards so people can at least see what's in there just not post. Then they can decide if its worth the $7 to them. Plus if its recurring, the site would most likely get at least a second year of money out of a lot of people who would forget about the charge or not notice $7 missing from their bank account.

Just a thought

Wow...i remembered my password from 5 years ago This place brings back some damn old memories. I sold my 95 vtec back in 2002, not that anyone remembers me anyway. Anyway...have fun w/ your preludes. I still miss the interior from mine, was a lot nicer looking than my STi is.

The site is free now. Before you really had to be a member to see anything. Yes, there are a couple of paid areas because thats the way the paid members wanted it and I think its a good idea. Making the entire site free is not fair to the people who paid to be here. So this is a good compromise.

Yeah I remembered my password from 2004, and didnt remember my username, so the email reminded me of that! It is cool to be allowed most areas for free, and I may pony up the cash to see it all here, even though I contribute a ton more to my local site that anyone can access it all.

So who or what organization took over the site as I see the admins with few posts. It must be an all new crew here I am assuming.

This forum was paid membership only for the last 4 years or so. I believe you could view the General Discussion forum, but nothing else.

This site is essentially free now. The only forum that is for paid access only is the Off Topic forum. All other areas are open to free registration.

yes, this forum used to be a pay site. After a transfer in ownership, it was opened up, however a certain portion was reserved for the members who have paid in the past.

i used this site within a couple years and now i cant figure out how to post a question so i will put it here hopefully people get it or u (that being the case) tell me how. i never paid anything before and im pretty sure i posted a new topic. well now i have many more questions as im trying to get it road worthy for dmv inspection cause its a salvaged title. the last time i drove it on the way home it started acting up on turns. then died 3 houses down from my house then it only started once and it was very rough. i thought maybe o2 sensor (its always had that code "!" ) ran fine before pulled hard and all. all that was a few months ago. today i check for fuel. have a tester but not the right connector to check it propper. i took off the fuel bung from the fuel rail and turned the key. it has fuel. i also have the entire oem maual. but still weary, it is money after all. i want to know if the o2 sensor will make the car not run. my other idea is the fuel filter i know it will not run if it doesnt have the proper pressure so im gonna try that first. when cranking the motor it has moments where it wants to start. please help. also i will post whatever the problem was to help people out. i tried to find my old post to give the answer and couldnt. there was one wire not connected at a connector under the hood. thanx alot

Prelude 5 gen supercharger and german TüV

Hi, I'm new here.

I've got a BB8 H22A from 98. I made light N.A. mods (Headers, obx cat. type S 220 intake + K&N filter). I would like to instal a supercharger but here in Luxembourg I will need a TüV certificate for the supercharger in order to be insured and pass the technical annual Government mechanical check .

Can someone help me with that ?

Tx a lot in advance.
