ZEX Nitrous Wet Kit. 65 shot.

Product: ZEX Nitrous Wet Kit. 65shot jet setting.

Extras related: ZEX Purge kit, ZEX Bottle heater, 1 step colder NGK plugs

Installation: It was done by guy named Jake(aka NXlude). AWESOME guy, very professional and well educated to cars. It was he's first time installing ZEX, but it was a breeze for him. I was right next to him the whole time he was installing it.
It seems pretty straight forward. I won't say "easy". But if you know what to do, where to hook it up, wire it, mount it and all that, its just time consuming. Not too technical.
(Again, thanks to jake so much for awesome installation. )

First impressions: Well ok, everything was hooked up, lets go for a ride.
I floored it in 2nd. ZEX only sprays when you are on full throttle.
There was a little "lag". About a second later, I could feel the nitrous has kicked in.
It pulled HARD. well damn.
It was like a strong vtec crossover at low-rpm(i punched it around 3500rpm).
You can actually "feel" the car pulling. Many of you probably had impression that nitrous will act like the movie Fast and the Furious.
Well, you know, honestly, I never believed that crap, until I sprayed.
It does kinda feel that way. Sorry Im explaining it in such super rice term.
I can't help it though. Pull is so noticibly there. RPM/Speedo increases faster, and it just feels GOOD.
I put it in 1st, and floored it. Before I even realized, it was already @ close to redline. Barely avoided the rev limiter.
I put it in 3rd, around 3500rpm, and punched it. Usually h22a ludes are dogs before vtec.
Low-mid range rpm pull felt SOOOOOOOO good.
One major thing I realized was, as RPM gets higher, it pulls harder and harder.
Obvious you say, but the feel you get is only if you have nitrous system on your car.

Conclusion: Awesome stuff. I guess there is reason why people say nitrous is most bang for the buck, and also a cheater system.
I plan to raise it to 75shot w/ iginition timing retarded. Im going to try to get most of out of it.
Again, Im loving it. I just hope I won't be too juice-happy all the times.

how much did the kit cost you including the installation?

do you press a button like fnf lol... or is it just when you hit full throttle it sprays?

zex only engages when you are 90% or more throttle. It does not have a button like that.

So for total, Wet kit only + installation w/o any purge or anything I spent $450 on it.

I've enjoyed my zex for 2 years now. Only downside I see is if something goes wrong with the barney box then u have to replace the whole box whereas the others you can just replace the solenoids. And Zex doesnt measure their hp at the wheels.

Yeah, Honestly, zex won't be the "Best" kit. It IS easiest kit to install though.
but as you said, for first timers' or beginners, this is a great option I think.
