Tx7 MTF Additive

Hey everyone,

So here's the story. =)

I changed my tranny fluid a few weeks ago, and ever since, 2nd gear started becoming reallllly notchy and rubbery, with a rare grind. At first I thought it was b/c my fluid level was low, as the filler bolt was so tight that I couldn't get it off, so I pretty much put in ~2 quarts of Honda MTF.

I go to UC Davis for school, and stupid Davis, all the shops were busy or closed on Saturday morning, the only place that was empty was Jiffy Lube, so I went there.

They checked my fluid, said everything was good, even proved it to me. I told them my tranny was shifting like crap, so they suggested adding something called Tx7 MTF additive. It's this blue, really thick fluid, and he mixed it in along with my existing Honda MTF.

Wow, what a difference. My 2nd gear is now waaayy less notchy and haven't grinded at all this week. Gears are definitly shifting much more smoothly now. I highly recommend this thing. And hey, for $13, it's not too expensive either for the benefits that I got.

Questions? Comments?

It comes in a quart bottle, so he just mixed the quart in.
