I bought these about 3 years ago in short notice on ebay, becuase I needed to raise the ride height of my lude to prepare for the first winter driving in the snow.
Pro's:
They were cheap and adjustable, they also matched the blue theme I was sticking with on my blue lude back then. Due to the lack of a progressive spring they took corners Like the car was on rails. Almost no sway at all.
Cons: They squeeked and rattled over every little bump. The ride was extreemly harsh...you felt EVERY single crack in the road. ( I even installed new KYB's in hopes the lowest setting would soften the ride).
Problems: after a few months the rubber "squeek" protectors began to crack and peel whenever I adjusted the ride height. Soon they became brittle and by the next summer had fallen completley off. One of the last coils on 2 springs cracked and broke...after only 1&1/2 years
Side note: the car was garaged that whole time and only driven 8000 miles on those 3 years due to the fact that I lived only 3 miles from work AND had a winter car for the last year. Shoddy workmanship and even worse quality.
