I can't even remember what the stock shifter was like anymore, but i remember the huge difference i noticed when i first put it in-i loved it from the first moment i drove it. well not the first moment because i had forgotten a clip and kept hitting my hand on the thing below the stereo and it didn't want to go into 1st, 3rd, or 5th haha i'm dumb, but after i fixed that it was awesome. I think everyone should buy one, they are no joke that nice. It's short, but not too short, i can comfortably reach it. Shifts are precise and smooth. It really does shorten the throw a lot; it's not like they just put the knob lower or anything. Neutral is right in the middle where it should be, so i'm never unsure of what gear i'm putting it in. i really do think i like it more than my jdm fogs, if possible .
I can't think of what all to say, by all means if you have any questions ask me i'll be glad to answer, hell if you live near me i'll let you drive the damn thing sometime.
I got an email from Pete a couple of days ago stating that all of the out of stock parts (shift knobs & boots) to complete the full short shifter kit are now available. I sent him a US money order yesterday so I hope to have it in my hands within a week...

well, how much shorter is the throw with a Pspec? with adapters it's 30% shorter and feels otherwise the same as stock. Use a lower profile shift knob and it's even better.
I just got my newly redesigned Pspec short shifter today, it's beautiful. I've been on the waiting list for a long time. It's adjustable in both throw and height. The install was easy. It does a great job in maintaining the stock comfort, and at the same time improving performance. I really didn't notice to much of a difference between this shifter and the custom setup that I had before besides that it just feels more sturdy (since the previous shifter was setup to my liking) If you already have a short shifter it may not be worth it. If you're in the market for one though, you really need to look into Pspec.
I second the "sturdy" comment. The shifter as a whole feels heavier and each shift is more solid (almost a thump into second and fourth). My car feels more expensive now.
Im in the market for a new short shifter...It looks really tempting but $230(with knob) seems like alot to me....i think i might just do it tho..im interested.
does anyone have pictures of the shifter after install with boot and knob back on?? I would like to see side views to how much it shortens up the shifter itself.
