jsut like the directions, you wanna put on the blk housing before you put on the mirror, so you can place it on the pegs...

i did mine with bare hands... they come out really easy if the water is Hot, and you slowly move around the mirror housing, pulling out the mirror glass. I had to do this several times because i didnt realize he had included adhesive tape until after i got them both on with my own tape... but it wasnt as thick.. so i pryed them off and re did them...

You wont break the glass if your careful.

Did mine today and it wasnt so bad, like everyone says just pry around the outside of the OEM mirror slowly and you'll be ok. I did break my passenger side taking it off but I rushed it. Regardless the Level mirrors fit perfectly for me on the housings and the only hard part was getting the driver side back on the pegs. It just didnt want to go back on.

The trick to getting that sh*t back on is to find a straight edge that has enough surface area to exert pressure on, you place this edge on the black trim of the mirror and push there, not on the glass itself.

Yeah I had to push on the mirror itself to get it to go on one side, I was nervous it would crack after your learning experience. The driver side I had to actually use needle noose pliers to put the stud back in the socket.

try putting more adhesive...i double stacked my adhesive in the middle of the mirror since it wouldn't make contact with the mirror if i put only one piece...

I finally installed my set of mirrors and I do agree... it 's surprising when your used to looking back for details only to realize that the car now seems 6 blocks away already!!!

My reason for posting is this... for some reason I can't get my mirrors to adjust upward anymore! as far as I can tell it only had a center pivot joint and (2) other connectors. Both are in well but neither one will move up... down and side to side works great!

Any advice?????????????

when i first installed my mirrors.. it took me a little a while to get used to it too.. but now i feel weird driving a normal car

are you sure you have the other 2 connectors in? cuz what you described sounds like you only have 1 in.
