Innovative motor mounts 5th gen

well.. they re finally finished. took them 3 months but they are finally done.
3 innovative mounts... driverside , pass side, and rear, no need for a front now.
i got the 500+hp black inserts w/ powder coated black brackets. the inserts are replaceable, which are a plus if anyone is really going for 800hp. pretty easy to install ( well my tranny was out... i just need a jack to hold the motor up) ... and it took all of an hour to do. it took them awhile to get the driverside right do to the abs plug and unit , but it is still somewhat of a tight fit. finally 5th gens have some support. i drove w/ them for the first time tonight and i was impressed. i also installed stage 2 axles and obx lsd so the overall effect of was way greater then i was expecting.
WOW .. my dashboard sounds like it gonna fall out. Other wise not bad. i dont get the annoying wheel hop, definitely solid, and my exhaust is not only heard but now felt through out the entire car lol.

What durometer of bushing did you go with? Everything bolted in fine, or did you have to massage anything to get them to fit?

After dealing with one in the Civic I used to own, I wouldn't buy one... I've installed many Quaifes, and I use a Kaaz myself. No issues. I'd go with the real deal.

sorry no pics... since i didnt have the tranny in... it was cake. took no longer then an hour. i did have to massage the driver side a little bit but otherwise it was really nothing. well the comfort of the soft stock mounts is extremely noticeable. no more wheel hop thats for sure. big thumbs up.

honestly ... i have no problems w/ it... so far. i like many of you have heard bad things. but i think it mostly depends on installation and break in. ive had mine in for around a month now. BIG DIFFERENCE IN LAUNCHING... in turns however alittle hopping but it definitely grabs way better. i had a very reputable shop put mine in they have done alot of H trannys w/ it and have had no complaints yet. well we ll see how it goes... im getting tuned for 15psi on my turbo setup tomorrow we shall see if it really does improve the power put the wheels.

okay do to the fact that the bushing themselves.... are super stiff, i had to wiggle them a bit to line up the holes for the center bolt to fit in. thats all... its nothing more then a direct bolt in with the right tools. it was worth it.
