Greddy EVO 2

I had a Greddy EVO on my lude
thought I was selling the lude....that didnt happen and since I got rid of the exhaust I bought the EVO 2

it has about the same exhaust note as the EVO, however, its a bit different after 4K rpms
combined with Mugen header and Carsound 2.5" cat it has a very nice rumble at idle...tehehehe
after 4k rpms its quite deafening

the construction, fit and finish are what to be expected from Greddy....high quality
unlike the EVO, its Stainless Steel all the way back which is a plus.
when I took off my EVO it was rusted to hell and I only had it on for about a year or so

I got it for a really good price off one of our former sponsors...Defcon...thanks man
it was shipped quickly and promptly and when I opened the box it came with everything needed:
gaskets
nuts and bolts
washers and the extension piece for the base model

onto the pics

heres where it bolts up to the cat:

please note that its not quite 2.36" at the cat....this might be why its CARB Legal

heres the S-bent piping that goes under the back seat(I call it the S-pipe):

heres the muffler section:

heres the nuts, bolts and gaskets:

I have the video clips Anthony made when he got this exhaust. PM your email address to me and I can send them to you if you want to hear this exhaust on his car.

on my EVO I had no problems, however on the EVO 2, the piping where the S-bend piping mates up to the muffler section hangs low
just go to the muffler shop and have them reweld the hangers
problem solved

After reading this review and other people's threads in PO, I got my evo2.

Its been about a month since I got it. Sound is not fully broken-in, but I think its almost there.
Its louder than when I first got it. but i just LOVE THIS SOUND.

I owned custom piping, axle back exhausts, dual exhaust, racing medallion, ultra medallion, heard skunk2 & hyper medallion exhaust on my buddy's car everyday, etc etc..
This is the best sounding exhaust I've ever had. Sound is just pure sex.

Whenever I get stressed, I tell my girl to rev it up when Im behind the car.
It just makes all the stress go away and makes me smile..

and yes, the piping @ axleback does hang low, but nothing major.

Just a reminder if anyone is about to buy one, canister is HUGE. its GIGANTIC.
I expected evo2 canister to be big, but it was kazillion times bigger than I imagined.
Its not that noticible when its on the car as canister hides 70% of itself, but it is huge.
