Fujitsubo headers, carsound cat, apexi dunk exhaust

so, over this past weekend i had the time to go ahead and install my fujitsubo 2.36" headers, 2.5 carsound cat, and 2.5 apexi dunk exhaust along with my already existing aem cai.

this exhaust system is nice, sounds mean, has a deep tone not ricey, however a lil' too loud for my taste. from my butt dyno, its a nice upgrade. will post pics in member's ride as soon as i get pictars!!! just wanted to share

its out of production, from what i know my headers arent all that easy to find either. i listened to some HTers and wiped my headers down with some wd40 and now it has a nice goldish tint to them. im currently back at school so if i can get ahold of someone with a digital camera i'll post up pics yO!!! woot woot.

btw, i think i woulda liked the look of an apexi n1 or mugen exhaust better. the dunk is chunkier than the greddy evo i used to have on my accord but it still looks like a greddy evo, lol.
performance>show rite?!?! or both is betetr!

o ya,
and also made some measurements of the stock stuff. the stock cat is only 1.7" on a base 2000 prelude. .8" difference wtih my carsound cat!! muahaha, o and also, my fujitsubo headers were originally for 4th genners. it bolted rite up, the header and the downpipe. i just needed a lil extension from my cat to the downpipe.

hey I was looking at a 3 piece Fujitsubo. They had 2 though, one for H22 and one for H22A, the A was 300 bucks less. Is that the one I'd want? I have a 99 base.

the one i used was a two peice. its the header and the downpipe which is the 2.36" collector u can put the donut gasket on. 4th or 5th gen i dont htink it matters. if u get the 3 peice header i guess u can just use the 3rd piping, its just piping, nothing new. if the 2 piece is cheaper get that and just take it to an exhaust shop and have them add on extra piping if needed.

well, even if u look at ur stockheaders, the downpipe on the 5th gen is really really long, woulda made more sense if honda just made the downpipe into 2 separate peices. the third peice is just extra piping, has an o2 sensor on it i think?? doesnt matter tho, through my experience, i figured out that headers made for both 4 and 5gen ludes fit, just need either extra piping or less piping which is easily manageable from any exhaust shop.
