that really sucks, you would think dealing with a company direct is better than buying from a authorized dealer would be better but I guess not.
I planned on buying a Drag kit at one time but, I would of most likely bought it off a reputable dealer, instead of directly that way I can walk in the store and complain in person.
question, did they offer to send you the correct kit before you asked for a refund?
Most companies are quick to exchange but when it comes to refunds they put you in circles.
----
I had an experience a while back buying a jdm Mazda motor, after it was install ed it was knocking terribly, they gave me two options send me another or refund my money. After paying a shop to install the first time and waiting nearly a month I decided to abandon the project and ask for refund, later I bought my lude.
anyhow the salesman "Sam" was cool and said he first needed to get the owner to approve it, I called everyday for like a week and Sam claimed that refunds were filled monthly and I had to wait another week...never got it.
Than the phone number and website was disconnected.
I called the bbb and was told the company had filed for bankruptcy that same week.
Company was called Japan Star Motors.
It turns out that they are back in business with a new owner and name Japanese Star Motors Inc. and "Sam" is still a salesman. I can't say I blame 'Sam' he wasn't the owner but oh well.
