DC Sports Header

I know a lot of people either have this product, or have tried it before, but I didn't see a review for it, so I figured I'd post one up . The header I bought is ceramic coated, 2-piece, and 4-2-1 style. It's the 97-01 version. I got it dirt cheap, and wasn't expecting much, so it's all good. And I currently have an AEM CAI, and Greddy PE Exhaust (very nice upgrades IMO).

Appearance:
-Nice compared to OEM Heatshield.
-Seems to provide extra space, which makes me wonder why they bent the tubes down so early.
-People that don't know preludes are like :-O SWEET! (Protege owner)

Daily Driving:
-Doesn't make much of a difference at all, this was expected.
-Sound was very close to stock at idle.
-When driving, it seems to sound like a louder CAI if you step on it.
-VTEC might be a little louder, but it's nothing big.
-Hood heats up a lot faster (obviously), so when it rains, and you're stopped at a light, you get a good amount of steam

Performance:
I did a run over at "the spot", and this is what i noticed:
-Honestly, nothing. I was expecting this.
-I'd like to add that it sound like ass when I rev it in neutral
*EDIT: The loose connection was FIXED, no more rattling. Idle rev sounds nice
Conclusion:
For $150, I knew I wasn't going to get anything big out of this. The lack of performance was expected, so I'm not bothered. I like how it looks in the bay though. I'll take a pic later for anyone that hasn't seen it.

^^I know Mugen is supposed to be like 8000 times better, but I don't think it's worth $1000 used for a full used Mugen exhaust system. And we have an update on the header, I think my mechanic might not have removed some stuff near the header, so I'm going to remove what needs to be removed, I think something might be vibrating with the header causing an obnoxious idle sound.

The weird sounds I was getting have disappeared, so that's straight. I'm starting to like this header, it has definitely given the car a new sound... time to edit main post, and add pic

For the price, DC Sports Header is a decent buy. Decent power gains, 3-5 hp max. Realistically, no header is going to give you 10-15 headers...without paying a certain price. So for those on a budget, the DC Sports Header is a good buy.
