Are Axxis gems, or coils of poop?

I just bought some Axxis Ultimate for these D&S brembo-s on the way.. I read a couple threads saying they were amazing.. blah blah.. and one or too sayn' they're "screaming, kung-fu grippn, ABS activating blocks of ceramic poop"

do anyone have some insight, cause i'll sell them when they hit the doorstep.

they are alright. good for city driving. OK for track

and you probably shouldn't have gotten drill/slotted. doesn't help and wastes money that could be better spent else where

I have found the ultimates are great for street driving and autocross, but cannot withstand the high temperatures generated from track use.

At NPM06, mine would fade horribly if I braked as hard as I wanted going into the turn 1/2. This was seen as uneven pad deposits on the rotors afterwards (I should have teken pictures). I ended up taking it easy into 1 & 2 so I would have brakes for the other sections.
