Advan A048 review *pics*

I just bought these for all four in the size of 225/50/15 for my 180SX.
These are Great tires, extremely sticky. Warms up quickly on the track. The single block design and sidewall are great. They allow extremely crisp and sharp turn-ins. IMO, it has better performance than the A032R (which I used to run on), and it's MUCH quiter. I highly recommend these tires if you track or autocross your car.

Very kool. I'm looking into these right now I had a few questions...

1a) Are they M or MH compounds?
1b) Any drawbacks to the compound (M or MH) that you chose?

2) Wheel width in the above pics? 15 x (?) ...reason I'm asking is because the sidewalls look like they have some bulge.

3) do they run wider or narrower than the specs posted on the Yoko website?

4) how are they wearing so far?

Thanks

They are MH compounds, the size I've got is only available in this compound.
M compound would be take less time to warm up, but they also wear out a little faster.

My TE's are 15 x 7 +15offset, the 225/50/15 bulges a little bit as you see. They seem to run wider than a "normal" 225.

I've put on about 2000 miles on the road, they only show very little sign of wear so far. My Kumhos V700 wore at much faster rate than these.

Overall I'm extremely happye with these tires, they are excellent even in the rain!! I don't think there is a better tire out there that offers such incredible traction.

Keep us updated on wearing, I'm hearing from some friends on mine that many of the Advan's have quick wear. I'm curious to see how these hold up
