Arizona's first monthly drag race and car show point series kicks off it's season opener this Saturday at Speedworld Dragstrip. (19421 W. Jomax Rd.) 9 Miles North of Bell Rd. on Grand Ave.


Car Show and Racer roll in 2p.m. to 5p.m.
Spectator Gates open at 5 p.m.
$20 Admission - No additional registration charges for race or show.
Racers & Show Participants Enter Jomax Rd.
Spectators Enter Happy Valley Rd.



Show Classes:
Mild, Wild, Acura/Honda, Scion, Toyota/Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan/Infinity, Mazda/Hyundai, VW, Dodge, Chevy/GMC/Cadillac, Ford/Lincoln, Subaru, Luxury, European, Motorcycle, Classic Car, and Low Rider.

Show Points are scored as follows:
Your AZSRA judged score sheet will be the basis for your points calculation. Whatever points you get in each category will be added together to form your "Total Points". Your Total Points will determine your rank in the series, highest points earned is first place and so on.

Bonus Points
1st Place - 100 Points
2nd Place - 75 Points
3rd Place - 50 Points
100 Points Per Show Entered
30 Point Bonus per Show for 5 or More Show Entered
50 Point Bonus per Show for 10 or More Show Entered



Race Classes:
All cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome to race in either Non-Competition or Competition categories. AZSRA is Cars VS Trucks VS Bikes racing at its best! The closest thing to street racing you can get without the expense of the traffic ticket.

The AZSRA drag racing classes are broken up into five time indexes:
Time index Full field payouts
GROCERY GETTER 1ST-$75, 2ND-$50
13.99 - 12.76 1st-$100, 2nd-$75
12.75 - 11.51 1st-$150, 2nd-$100
11.50 - 10.00 1st-$200, 2nd-$125
Singles club 1st-$250, 2nd-$150

- Each class runs heads up in their time index.
- 8 Vehicle per class for full field (50% payout on non-full field)
- Each time index has been assigned a specific staging lane for competition.
- All racers are responsible for staging in the correct lane to compete.

Racer Points are scored as follows:
Finishing Points
1st Place - 100 Points
2nd Place - 75 Points
Semi Finalists - 50 Points Each

Bonus Points
100 Points Per Race Entered
30 Point Bonus per Race for 5 or More Races Entered
50 Point Bonus per Race for 10 or More Races Entered
