ok here's the story, i took it there because my timing belt was loose.
he told me he needed to replace everything which was understandable, and i also had him change the water pump while he was at it. total was like 460 for all of that.
but this is what happened he took my car and had it done in 2 days. when i first got it back, i felt something wasn't right. it was studdering. so i turned around and had him keep it overnight so he could figure out what was wrong with it. when i picked it up the next day he said the ignition timing was off by a few degrees. so i said great and started to drive home and guess what it started doing it again. after doing this about three times it was still doing it. so i gave him one more chance. i gave it to him one morning to try to figure out what was wrong. when i went there that evening he had no idea what was wrong. at this point i was pretty pissed that he didn't know what the hell was wrong.
so the next day i hear about racing intergration in tampa. i took it there and he told me that my cam timing was off by 2 teeth and i had a crack in my oil pan from where they jacked the engine up. they also had JB weld on it to try to seal it. so i had to pay them $70 to tell me that, that next morning i took my car back up to Rick's and told him what i had found. once i told him what was wrong he told me there was no way, he checked it twice and he had no idea what happened to the oil pan and when i told him i expected him to pay the 70 i had to pay to figure out what he couldn't. he got in my face about 2 inches away and started yelling and cursing at me tell me to **** off and other not so nice things.
and basically told me to leave the shop and never come back. i really thought he was going to hit me.(which i wish he did, because i would own that damn shop.) so now i have to pay racing intergration to fix what they didn't do right which is prob going to be about 4-500 dollars more.
i will tell you the exact amount when i find out.
so trust me do not go there.
hopefully that all made since.
i just can't wait to get my car back.
