Anyone going to thrash on the new miata?

I signed up for the 5th at 11am.. going with a few club members...

I'll try to go.

BTW- Saw a couple of dynos for the new MX-5. They are only making 130whp!!!!! No way in hell they are losing 40hp from the crank to the wheels. I think Mazda did it again.

^^ why not? the 1.8 only dynos at 100whp and it's rated at 135hp stock..

Isn't this new engine rated at 170hp. Anywho, I'm all signed up and ready to go. I'll be there on the 6th at 12:15pm

Yes it is.. the 1.8 is the motor that came with my car... like i said.. loosing 40 between the crank and the wheels seems normal for a miata..

Won't see you then.. i'm there on the 5th..
