well, i am kinda in northeast. i bought it new in june 1999 from hidy honda in beavercreek, ohio. it was the only 5 speed (non-SH) in a 200 mile radius. i wanted balck, bought red. dealer was an ass like most dealers. i went back one time after i bought it because of a leaky oil filter. never been back. i will never buy from them again.

It was the closest dealership to me, bottom line. And they gave me a real good price. Plus the salesman was a really cool guy.

Bobby Rahal Honda in Mechanicsburg. Faulkner was closer but my previous experiences there destroyed any confidence I ever had with them. Rahal went out of their way to give me what I wanted and to satisfy my needs. Even their service department was pretty good.

I bought mine private party from someone near Cleveland, so I can't comment on any experiences at the dealership. I was going to ask why not look into private party as well, but I see you are looking for a Fit so I assume you will be buying it new?

yeah.. you can only buy them new or else I wouldn't even bother with a dealership... I'm thinking of trying to deal with getting it online (it was mentioned in OT)

Scott Honda, because at the time its the only prelude I could find with good miles and a good price/financing. Suprisingly the acura the is from there to because I got it dirt cheap and it was exactly what I wanted.
