Western NY meet at my camp . . . any interest?

So I've been thinking, it'd be cool to have a meet sometime this fall where I live now (a summer camp).

Right off the bat, the negatives:
  • It's a pretty long drive for most of the usual NE crew. Zip code 14549 - about an hour south of both Buffalo & Rochester. 3.5-4 hours west of Albany, 2-2.5 hours northwest of Binghamton, if that gives you any idea.
  • No alcohol. Yeah, it'd have to be a "dry" event - at least, while you're on camp grounds. Nothing stopping people from going out for a few drinks, though.

The positives:
  • Cheap lodging: There are 2 cabins we could use, each has 26 beds, 5 toilets, & 2 showers. The cost is $22/person for the night, $38/person for 2 nights. There's a kitchen in each cabin, & bbq grills available for people to cook.
  • Charcoal Corral: About half a mile up the road from us there's a family restaurant/fun center . . . mini-golf course, arcade games, drive-in movie theater, food, ice cream shop, etc. They also hold a "Cruise Night" every Thursday evening, where everyone in the area pulls out their hot rods & muscle cars to show them off. It'd be funny as hell to crash it with a dozen (or more) nice Preludes . . .
  • Karting: About a 40 minute drive from here is Batavia International Motorsports park, with a pretty cool outdoor karting course. It's not open to use just whenever, but with enough warning it can be reserved for a "club event" (we'd have it for an entire day or whatever). If there's interest, I'd look into the pricing & other detail.
  • Pool: Yeah, the camp has a heated pool. Costs $2.50/person.
  • Waterfront: We've got kayaks & canoes available as well - also $2.50/person.
  • Misc. activities: We've got a huge field with an archery range, softball diamonds, volleyball courts, soccer goals, etc.
  • Despite being a long drive for the NE people - it does sort of split the difference between us & those in Ohio & other midwest areas . . . so there's some possibilities there for a meet-up.

Here are some random shots of the camp I took last fall right before I moved here:

I don't think there are any pictures of the field or the area with the cabins where people would be staying . . . but I can supply them fairly easily if people so desire.

So yeah . . . any interest?

2 people per prelude. 3 if you have one person do the prelude back seat position (sits sideways with legs horizontally)

fixed.

A NE BBQ isn't a NE BBQ without vast amounts of alcohol consumption . . . . I wouldn't want to give the wrong impression - we'd have to come up with a different name for this one.

Holy crap, their website is about 4000% better than ours . . .

Of course, at $4,900 for 7 weeks, I guess they can afford decent web design. 7 weeks at our camp would be under 2 grand (about $275/week).

If we organize it on a weekend that there is Auto-x that would be fun too. There are 3-4 regions close to the camp.

Sounds like a good idea - Watkins Glen is on the way for a lot of people as well . . .

I'll check the schedules out.

For anyone interested, I posted a thread in OT with some pics of the Cruise Night up the road from me . . . A bunch of Preludes would totally fit right in.
