What do you guys think, maybe after xmas, before New Years, head up to Vermont, rent a couple rooms out for a few nights, and ski/snowboard during the day?
Just throwing out an idea here
BTW, this isnt really prelude meet, since I sure as hell wont be driving a lude (more like a minivan) but yeah, you get the idea.
Get drunk, go snowboarding

I will say one thing; that period of time may be very difficult. There really is no time between Christmas and New Years that a lot of people would be free. Perhaps it would be better to have it after New Years...?
Yeah I havent really looked at the calender in corellation with my school vacation.. so I don't know whens a good time. But I'll let you know in a bit since I'm going to be planning this soon, hotel vacancy's around that time tend to be sparse....
What mountain's you guys like?

Might be cool to take amtrak up to vermont?
I havent done that in a loooong time... its a pretty simple system.. I dont think you even need a rental car from the station... plus we all can chill on the train... while our cars/trucks stay at home.

I don't know if something could be worked out, but I'm no more than an hour and a half from at least a dozen different mountains - and there's a train station/bus stop about 10 minutes from me in White River Junction. Got room for 3 or 4 people to crash, or more to just hang out.

Until you hit the curb that's underneath the snowbank . . . .
And keep in mind, most of the banks up here you don't want to hit - snow doesn't melt up here, it just gradually freezes into a cement-like barrier . . . . . good times . . . .

what dates does everyone have off from school? The best time is usually a few days after the New Years... the crowds are minimal... and preferably if everyone could go mid week... that way we actually ride / ski instead of sit in lift lines all day.
I can also take a train from boston to anywhere in VT/NH etc... if it helps with planning... count me in. though my ski stuff is still in storage... I'll rent.
