I'm still interested. I think we should just set a date and location. If someone is as interested in this as me then they will come.

Hey Senate, since you are the one with experience, how about at your place, you pick the date/time.

i dont want people to randomly show up expecting work to be done. if people want to hang out a bit thats cool i just dont want people coming in thinking this or that will get done and it not be done.

How about I show up tomorrow and you do my brake lines George? On a serious note you should just go ahead and set a date and time. There is no way to pick a date that is good for all involved. It would be easier for you to pick a time that works for you and see how many people are going to show up for that time and see what they need done. With that being said don't pick this weekend since I have things to do (just being sarcastic here).

He is right, just pick/date time. I don't think people should come in expecting things to get done. The whole point of this work shop is that you do things yourself and if you get stuck others will help you. Also I think big jobs like timing belt & valve adjustment aren't the best thing to do due to time and location.

A valve adjustment can take less than an hour. It's not a big job at all.

I'm down to do the valve adjustment in NJ. I'm gonna have to pass on Queens, especially if the place will be tight on space to begin with. Let me know if we're getting something together in NJ for valve adjustment.

Kind of funny (and sad) how you can so many people together for a regular meet but you can't get people to come together to be responsible enough to do regular maintenance.
