I'm not sure how relevant my vote is since I've got about a 7 hour drive down to Philly area . . . . but I voted Tuesday (and then the major drive all day Wednesday).

But I'm also open to pushing that back a day and skipping the meet/greet - that'd allow me to go to work on Wednesday.

If we staying over Wednesday night in St. Louis... leave Wednesday AM. If we're driving straight through... I guess Wednesday afternoon?

I think I would prefer to drive half and then sleep and then drive the other half. I just couldn't imagin my ass being planted int he seat for 20 straight with a few breaks..

Yeah I'd rather stop as well. But remember thats added costs of another hotel. If we fill up the rooms it probably won't be so bad (maybe $20-25 each a night).

that's what I was thinking. Even a roadside hotel that rents for like $50 nite would be fine for just a nite of rest.

Did a quick search and the cheapest hotel I saw was $51/night. Split two-ways, thats about $25/night. Four ways would be even cheaper.

thats why i said MOTEL not hotel. Roadside motels with the vacancy signs are usually pretty cheap.
