A good number of you have expressed interest in autocrossing, asking me how to get involved and when the next events are. So I am creating this thread to put all the info in one place with links to region SCCA websites and autocross schedules.
Philadelphia Region is holding two novice schools, one on 4/1 & 4/2, the other 4/22 & 4/23. The novice school is a two day format, during day one (which is a friday) you meet from 7:30pm to 10:00pm for classroom instruction. Day two (saturday) is in car driving instruction. The classroom portion is mandatory. On the sunday following each novice school is a real autocross event where you can apply what you learned. The fee is $85, which insn't bad considering what you get. You must sign up online for this. More details can be found on the PhillySCCA.com website. Both novice schools and the next day autocrosses will be held at Ripkin Stadium in Aberdeen, MD.
Most of the 2005 season schedules are finalized and posted. Here are the links:

I will be at most of the Philly Region events, inlcuding the 4/3 autocross so long as I can get my car repaired and inspected in time. I may also attend the 4/23 Test -n- Tune, being held along side the novice school the same day. If you have any questions about what class you would fall into, what you need to do to pass tech, what safety equipment you need (just a helmet), or any other misceallanous question feel free to PM me or email me though the site.
Philly Region also has a discussion board where you can register and post questions:

You may also choose to attend a lapping day or driver's school where you can bring your car out on a road racing track.
