NE BBQ '09 Date - Honda Prelude Forum

Ok folks, whats good for everyone? Pick the two or three best dates for you and we'll try and work around whats best for everyone!

I cannot host/attend on either the weekend of August 1st or the 22nd, I have weddings to attend.

*Edit* Sorry, the 4th option should be August 15th-16th.

I need advanced notice for flight resevations. My best time would be after finals which is 19 September through 20. I also have to figure out with Nat when the BAP softball meet is. It usually is around Labor Day or sometime in September. But, I guess I could make it for the other dates as long as I have advanced notice.

The weekend of Sep. 5-6 will probably not be a good one since that is Labor Day weekend.

The latest 2 weekends work for me, although 8/15-15 would be doable.

I'm no good for the 29th-30th either. I'm going to Vegas probably from sunday to Wednesday. maybe we should have the BBQ there. I've found some deals as cheap as $250 for round trip flights and hotel rooms for 3 nights.

hmmm, so based on poll results, can we pick a date? OHPOC is trying to plan another event as well, which could be impacted by this, etc.

I was thinking about trying to organize an NPM in Vegas this year, but didn't have the time. Maybe next year we can do it. Pick a weekend and have a bunch of PO people meet up in Vegas.

The three best dates thus far are mid-August, Mid September, and middle-end of Sept.

For me, I think the best date I can see to host would be the Mid-September date. I'm off that weekend with a three day weekend. Unless my schedule changes before then (which it very well may) I think its the best date all around.

That date cool for everyone?

^ya, works well for me. I think OHPOC is doing our small thing the weekend before. So the weekend of Sept 12/13th?

Yeah I think that seems like a good date. Gives me about two months to plan things out. The weekend off works good for me and that date got the most votes. Plus I know at least a couple people who can come and don't come on PO anymore, so it will be a good turnout.

I don't think there would have been too much organizing. You set the dates when everyone should be there and everyone sets up there own trip and we meet. There are deals galore online.

Oh and the week of the 12-13 sounds good to me. Hopefully i can make but will have to make sure someone can watch the kids so i can make the trip.
