Episode III comes out tonight at midnight...

I'm thinking of doing and seeing it at the Newport Mall (They have it in digital projection format... w00t.) Anyone not doing anything tonight that wants to go see it?

I don't even know if I want to bother seeing this one at all.

Does that make me a bad person?

^^ not at all.... i wonder if lucas knows he can create anything and he'll have a billion loyal people and it'll end up a crap movie to the normal public but i still want to see it

i'd try and stay away the 1st few nights b/c of all the crazy star wars fans! i've heard they talk through out the movie or cheer or do stuff kids do when you see a pg movie

Yea I went on opening night to see Episode 2 and the crowd was rowdy. They didn't talk through the movie but they definitely cheered a bunch (especially at the Yoda scene ), so I missed a few lines here and there. It was fun for the experience of it though.

I'm not doing anything tonight. I still won't go see it though. Wait a week, and then see it in peace. Or somehow I will find it online somewhere

I would tag along with you Scott but I HATE Star Wars.
Maybe if it was an actual movie then I would go.

A friend of mine who saw it this week told me today that it was better than one of the movies in the old trilogy. This is the first time I've heard anyone even remotely consider the new ones to be as good as the old ones. Something tells me I should go see it soon.

^I talked to my friend in Norfolk yesterday and he said the same thing, best movie in the entire trilogy. Then you talk to some people and they say its the worst movie of the trilogy.

I think you just have to go see it for yourself and make your own opinion. I find it hard to believe it even touches the original trilogy, but who knows.

BTW, WTF are Cali and VA people doing in my NE thread?
