PA I think is pretty easy on their inspections/emissions, but a PA resident can probably better comment on that.

As for the winters, its cold. It snows, ices, gets windy. Considering your in Colorado, I would assume you get some winterish weather no?

There are individual privately owned inspection stations.

Alot of cars are "legal" because of this... many shops will strap your car to a dyno to check things out, do the typical obd2 plug in and check everything as well as get down and dirty checking your brakes etc.

You'll need a cat, but can remove it right after inspection. Most of the stations are pretty lenient but you won't really know until you move here and find a shop.

I'm to assume you're going to be registering the car in PA?

The winters can get pretty nasty, salt KILLS our cars here... thats why nearly everything that comes from the north east is rusted to hell lol. Average winter is 20 or lower. once i hits 40s you just want to be out in a t-shirt again o.O'

What year is your 4th gen?

As far as the cover etc- I wouldn't leave it sitting on good tires... i made that mistake last year and mine started to dry-rot (too busy with work to even think about it at the time) I also left the car sit under a cover and it was fine. Just started it at least once a week and let it sit for 15 minutes or so.

Keep it clean, you don't want that moisture always sitting under the cover. So take it off if it's a nice day and air it out.
