The big project's almost done!!

hey guys, i haven't spent much time on the site lately, but i've had my motor out of my car for about 6 months now and finally we're about to put it back in. had the whole bottom end rebuilt, sleeved, 11:1 pistons, and crower rods, whole heads built, i don't even remember half the stuff i got into the thing, i'm just stoked about driving my car again. With the 100 shot of nitrous i'm expecting somewhere around 350 wheel horsepower. without the n2o i'll prolly be alittle over 200 at the wheels. I'm moving to orlando florida on october 1st so i'm outta here in about 3 weeks. Is anyone here in that area? I'd love to meet some new people once i get down there to show me around and whatever. lemme know what's up

350 from a 100 shot of N20? I think thats a bit optimistic, especially if your only going to be at around ~200 whp w/o it.

Rochester is pretty far north of me (I grew up in Orange County, specifically Middletown). Let me know if your ever in southern NY or NJ.

Hey I'm in orlando, there are a ton of ludes down here, but none fast. Be great to meet you, GC (si_G here) is thinking about having another meet here around Oct. 2. you can get a hold of me as UCFguy525 on AIM. In the meantime check out Orlandoforums.com for the local scene.

yeah i realize it may be alittle high but... i put 268 whp with a 75 shot stock bottom end. that was with my balance shaft off by 5 degrees too and a 14% leak out of cyl number 2. so i figure with the fully built bottom end and a 88mm bore rather than stock 87 mm bore plus the 11:1 compression and it's a 100shot now, 350 may be quite possible. i actually got a 91 horsepower increase with the 75 shot. So really it was more than a 75 shot.

Well I guess in that case it might work then. I always thought that the size of the shot was identical to the number of ponies gained.

not when we're talking NX
and his is direct port also(I think...well with the 100shot its going to be lol)so its a little bit better distribution of fuel and nitrous into the cylinders

ok good news and bad news... here it is... the valves did not get bent... which was a mericle. but... the exhaust cam is seized up for some reason. We don't know why, maybe there was lack of oil in the head because vtec wasn't working either. so now me and the mad scientist gotta rip the head apart and fix whatever i fried.

i've owned this car since it was brand new out of the honda lot... and i wasn't ever gonna sell it. you may be confusing it with another lude... yes it's a type S lip.... that picture is from carlisle last year. I just recently had that lip molded and put on jdm fogs.

So now i'm not even gonna be here when my car gets finished... i'm leavin one of my good buddy's in charge of the project and he's gonna take care of breaking it in and all that, then i think i'm gonna have him drive it down to florida. That bastards gonna get to hit vtec before i do!!
