this will be TE/EM's 2nd BBQ up in bear mountain. Last year was an excellent time and i think i offered it out to u guys last time, but it was short notice. Would be nice to see some of u guys, plus the NEBBQ isn't until August.

Weather's getting way to beautiful to not take advantage of it, but this time I was thinking of an earlier get together (to avoid traffic and secure parking spots for everyone). Tell me what you guys think of doing a cruise around the mountian then parking where we parked last year then BBQ'ing.

In order to keep everyone together for some nice shots/video's lets set up a meeting spot around 7-8am (we all remember what happened last time starting late....). Cruise for about an hour maybe longer (up to u guys) then finally ending at Bear Mtn. For those of you that aren't interested in the cruise you can just meet the rest of us at the bbq spot. I'll take care of getting the permit.

no can do.. one of the biggest driving events through the poconos is that Sunday with my miata club... twisty roads for 6 HOURS and over 80 miatas.. can't get any better than that!

will you guys do this again sometime? You also have to post up your route... I'm curious

I wish I had seen this post sooner! I live in upstate NY just north of Kingston, tucked between the Hudson River and the Catskill Mts. The Bear Mtn. area is really nice. I hope you all had a great time- I'll keep my eyes on this regional forum in the future and try to meet up with my fellow Northeast Luders at the next event.

It sounds like I missed out on a lot of fun...
