Anyone ever get their Hondata tuned at either of the following 2 places?

  1. Red Shift Motorsports in PA.
  2. NRGtech in NYC.
If so how was the experience. My tuner is moving to Japan so he can't tune my car anymore. I'm not asking about rates because I can get that information myself. Don't go talking about RPMNYC either, I've already been there in the past.

I already know about that place (boosted-hybrid) which is why I'm not asking about them. Thanks for the effort though.

I've heard several bad stories about NRGtech from their customers. Try Steve Sakai in Virginia or Gruvytune in NY. Those would be the only one's I'd recommend since you didn't seem to like RPM. I've never heard of Red Shift.

Steven Sakai is moving to Japan.
I've heard both good and bad about Gruvytune. Steven Sakai was the ONLY person I've heard no bad things about on the east coast. It sucks that he's moving.

Also....no one has to mention API Tuning in Yonkers either (I've already been there).

Ive heard of Red Shift Motorsports, theyre close to me...sorta...personally I havent heard anything about them
I was gonna go to them but then I found out Jeffs' shop was 20 minutes from my house

as Irene said, Jeff(boosted hybrid) is amazing with the Hondata...but he told me himself he doesnt like tuning N/A cars since hes heavily geared towards boosted cars so I wouldnt recommend him for N/A tuning...although he is very good at it and he has tuned some All Motor cars with very impressive results...I will however, definitely recommend him for boosted applications
I have never heard anything bad about Jeff....he does tune a couple of Hondatas for some race teams in PA, NY and NJ so I guess hes doing something right

and if its any incentive....I dunno if he gave me this price only to me but he said to tune the Hondata, however long it takes...$200-250

A few of the guys I autocross with have used RedShift. That includes Corey Ridgick, who was sponsored by them but recently took the stickers off his car. Other than that I don't have any personal experince with them.
