anyone in or around Stamford, CT?

I'm going to visit my auntie this weekend.. she lives outside Stamford near Stamford Harbor (according to google maps)...

what can i expect?

had a lovely time.... will post a few pics I took... it was really all about getting to know my aunt (and doing some laundry!)

traffic was terrible.. went the way of NJTP to 95 to CT... between G. Bridget and the NY Thurway it took me almost 2 hours!... then on the way home I took a different route, doing well on time and a tractor trailer wrecks taking up 2 lanes on the NJTP.. fawkers!

Anything I-95 sucks, especially that part through NJ --> NY --> CT.

yea this is why I take the Parkway -> 287 -> over the Tappan Zee Bridge -> 95 (reverse that to goto NJ).

sooo much better. I have always hated going over the GWB. PITA to go through the Cross Bronx Parkway.

^^ I did go that way home and I still got stuck in traffic b/c of a tractortrailer accident

Meh don't feel too bad though. I hate driving down during the afternoons. I leave around 1230 and I won't be in Rahway until 1730. All due to traffic. oh well. Just something you gotta live with. This is why I leave NJ around 2330 at night so that I skip all the traffic hahha. Night time and early mornings are the best times to be on the road in the NJ/NY area.
