Did mine myself....took off valve cover, used aircraft stripper to get the black off, sanded the hell out of it, used rustoleum clean metal primer, let that sit in for a while, then sprayed about 20 coats of Rustoleum Metallic Cobalt Blue, then a few coats of Rustoleum Clear Coat. It now looks professionally done and it cost about $15 in paints and supplies and took a day to do, but obviously it wasnt a day straight, more waiting than anything....here is a pic, looks good, huh?
