yes, if i recall there's a special fitting included to mate the 1/8" rigid tube to a vacuum line. this line is VERY important. PLEASE make sure it's hooked up properly... otherwise you will have no timing retard, and shortly after that you will have no pistons.

you can't get the throttle cable itself and the little stop at the end of it back onto the throttle body, or you can't get the bent aluminum plate that "guides" it onto the fitting which relocates the idle air control valve?
