whenever i bent some valves, one of the exhaust valve guides had a crack in it....the crack was located at the end of the valve guide...the valve that was in it was pretty bent out of shape....u might get lucky and won't have to replace....what Portflow did was they machined the exhaust valve guides to be flush with the exhaust port on the head so there would be laminar flow exiting the head....this allowed me to not having to replace the cracked valve guide

i have a complete h22a1 head that i might sell....still debating whether i should put that on the h22a4 SH block whenever i pull the motor and sell it as a complete motor with tranny
