My car had two broken springs, I replaced them with Tanabe Sustec H's (1" drop but no longer available) and Koni shocks. Overall I like this combination a lot, minimal ride penalty and yet I can adjust it firm when I want to. Just remember it's a zero some game, more drop equals less ride quality etc. I'd skip coilovers unless you want the ride height adjustability, the cheap ones suck.
