It could be torque loss.. I'm no fan of intakes, I trust the engineers at honda.. I just replace my air filters more often than they recommend.
However, the only thing I could see other than your torque loss would be if your clutch is slipping.. Watch your RPM guage under accelleration on a higher gear to see if you notice any odd behaviour. Or engage the clutch when idling and in 5th gear - it should stall almost instantly.
You could have a leak where the CAI connects up, maybe, too.. reset your ECU.. check your plugs for signs of running too rich..
