Yeah, I'm not sure if the JDM H23 VTEC uses the additional oil squirters found on H22 blocks. I have heard that not having that additional lubrication capability in the homemade H23/VTEC engines is what limits their lifespan. As far as I know, the H23 VTEC was only offered in the 2000+ Accord Sir-T wagon (lucky bastards got AWD too ). Check out the car on Honda's Japan Website
