Just a while a go I replaced the distibutor with a used one, because it was giving me a lot of hesitation. When I got the new distd. the car was running fine, then the tachometer started jumping and then I started getting hesitation in when VTEC kicks in. I can't even go past 6,000 rpm as it will start poping. When I first bought the car it was driving good no hesitation or anything. and then the distd. started acting weird and the same with the new one. The car is '94 VTEC, What could be causing the distd. to bad and did I just ened up if another bad apple?

By the way, the new distr. was of a '93 Si 115,000 ml. The distd. looked like it was new. So someone already ened up replacing it. It said Honda on the cap but it might be possible the distd. was bought in NAPA or something.
