Well, I like to think my questions are new because I SEARCHED for them and didn't see anyone else asking these questions... here goes...
I wanna drop a H22a in my 93 Prelude Si, and the following questions came up...
1) What parts from my Si will be required in the h22 engine/tranny package? Will the h22 come with a clutch, alternator, flywheel?
2) Assuming all the Proper tools are available, are there any modifications that need to be done with the chassis or any kits? Or does the bad boy just drop in no questions asked?
2b) Has anyone had apparent problems that they wouldn't mind sharing with me when they dropped their h22 in?
3) Me being a novice to engine modifications (i'm a stereo/computer guy ;-) ... since I"m gonna have an engine sitting out in the open, what would be good upgrades to do while I got it out? clutch? lightened flywheel? what else is a cost-effective upgrade?
4) Lastly, I noticed the headers for the Si and the VTEC are different part numbers, what abou tthe exhaust, is that going to not match up? Do I need to have the exhaust redone?
