I've always wanted to learn stick...ever since I was a kid. It would start when my pops would let me change the gears when I was like 6+ then progress to parking it in the garage from our slightly inclined driveway when I was 13, to driving around the block in the middle of the night when my dad came home from work, until I was finally legal to do it properly. I learned on stick, and took my road test on stick...passed with flying colours! It's like a rule in our family, always get a manual transmission when buying a sports car, no ifs ands or buts...+ having my moms laugh at me for buying an automatic is not a pretty sight, I wouldn't hear the end of it.
(Like an automatic was an option for me anyway)
P.s. The $1000 you save for getting a 5 spd helps the wallet out a bit too...
