Dude..that is NOT how to reset the ecu. Read-up on how to do it in the Helms Service Manual, or do a search..i'm sure someone has posted on this before.
Dude...yes that is the way to reset it...specifically said that in the Helm's manual...also said that the engine light would come on, which it did, i pulled the fuse labelled ecu, started car, turned off car, replaced fuse, turned on car, effectively RESETING THE ECU, not a myth, it worked, I just wanted to know if the engine light would ever go off.
