Now im not an alarm guru by any means, however depending on what functions you have for your Viper system , i don't think the oem remote would work,.. you can always try to put your alarm in valet mode and then reprogram your oem remote to it that way and see IF it works,..
If you just don't like your alarm keypad then change it out , or like you said just a lil bit of sanding and paint it
