I probably let this thread get out of hand b/c I was too lazy to find the link that discussed about importing a vehicle.

Its 5 pages long and its on a skyline, but you'll get the picture.
Bottom line is this, you're better of finding one here in the states that's been issued a VIN than importing one yourself.
