ya shoe does alright except when its windy, then it just hurts! Ha, no ill have to take out the box for the spare, its not terribly heavy or anything. I did cut out a slot to go around the amp though. I did think about mounting the amp on the trunk but didn't wanna hassle with the wiring assosiated with moving the amp up and down. It's not too bad, I like the looks of it there really. But ya its been not too much fun doing it all, but I think it worked out nicley. Thanks for the props
