i think that the ball joint type is more secure (about what happened to me)
its like solid steel all of it or seems to be
the other type or just the one i have.. have steel bolts and like an aluminum alloy, dont know, strong but is very brittle
also i read somewhere, the ball joint type hold the alingment better (for more time) than the other type (mine's)
