If you're looking to get a prelude I'd say the main thing to check is the oil when you go to buy the car. Check to see how dirty it is or how low it is, and if either are true that's a reason to walk away. Another thing to do is ask about the h22's oil consumption and see if they know what you mean, if not, walk away. Yes the h22 does "burn" oil, and people say they "cannot be run as hard as a b-series," but the whole thing is, they aren't an idiots car. You have to actually take care of your vehicle and do maintenance and if you aren't willing to, well you shouldn't really be looking at a prelude in the first place. But I am at 130k and the last owner was a pos when it came to taking care of this care, but I've never had a single problem with it.
