I got mine from Pep Boys, but they had to special order one of them. They were like $25 for the pair. One of those two shocks listed in that write up is WAY stronger than the other (its the one with the square holes that is stronger, I forget the part numbers) and if you used just that one it might work by itself. I tried it with two of the round islet ones first (because they didn't have to be special ordered) and even with two of them, they were too weak to hold the trunk lid up.
Now, I have one of each, and my trunk flies open when I pull the release. I was initially worried that it would break the latch, but no issues so far.... no rattles or bending of anything.
